ECCO Europe sets foot in Amsterdam
ECCO’s sales and marketing headquarters of the groups European and Middle Eastern Region is moving its offices to Amsterdam. ECCO’s European regional headquarters will be based in the Amsterdam South East Area, where ECCO will move into its new offices in the Atlas Arena complex during spring 2010. ECCO is looking to grow and expand its European and Middle Eastern Region, and the choice of Amsterdam being an international hub, was therefore an obvious choice for ECCO. "During the decision making process for this regional headquarters, we found the NFIA and the Dutch government in general to be very willing to start the dialogue and, for example, give clarity on tax and other regulatory issues" says Michel Krol, the MD of ECCO Europe B.V.
ECCO Europe & Middle East is ECCO's largest sales region making out approximately 70% of the total sales of the Group. The region covers all European and Middle Eastern markets; including all sales subsidiaries and distributors.
