FedEx Trade Networks, an international ocean and air freight forwarder, has established its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional headquarters at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as part of a recent seven-office expansion across Asia and Europe.
This location, as well as an additional European location in Paris, mark the company’s first owned operations in Europe and will allow FedEx Trade Networks to enhance and grow its freight forwarding services in the region.
“With this latest expansion in Europe and Asia, we can deliver more comprehensive global supply chain solutions to match the world’s ever-changing needs,” said Fred Schardt, president & CEO, FedEx Trade Networks. “Global shippers want flexible and reliable international freight forwarding, and our increased infrastructure can better support their needs between Europe, Asia and North America as well as intra-regionally.”
